Administrator

An individual(s) or entity acting in a fiduciary capacity. The individual or entity is appointed by the court. The administrator is responsible for the maintenance and distribution of the assets and/or liabilities of the deceased shareowner. This is commonly the closest relative, although that person can renounce their right to be Administrator in which case the right moves to the next closest relative.
